A dental laboratory is where dental technicians make the sophisticated restorations, crowns and bridges, that are too complex and time-consuming to be made at the chairside, and which require a very special range of skills.
There are more than a hundred different stages in the manufacture of a crown or bridge in a laboratory, many of them both detailed and time-consuming, and all needing a very high level of skill and specialisation.
We keep our own laboratory and technician for one reason only – we can control the quality of our restorations and produce a better quality simply because our technician is involved in the preparation and colour matching of your restorations.
